  1. I’m still learning how to integrate real food into our lives and recipes will make the job easier and my kids more likely to eat it.

  3. Why do I want access to your book? I am close to forty years old and never learned to eat healthy. I have been on yo yo diets since I was a teen, frankly I am tired of being obese. I live in Alaska, which in the winter it is hard to find real food without paying an arm and a leg. As a result my pantry is full of processed junk, I want to change my pantry and change my life. Please help. Thank you.

  9. Yes, this would be a great help to me. We have been making the real food transition over the past couple of months and I just purchased Nourishing Traditions so I think I really could use this companion.

  11. I realize the importance of real foods for my family, especially my son who suffers from seizures, a cookbook that will help us to accomplish the GAPS diet is a God-send.

  13. I would love to start making lacto-fermented foods but feel intimidated by it so haven’t tried. The book would help soooo much – I hope I win!

  15. Back in the early 80′s, my husband and I lived a fairly sustainable lifestyle on a 10 acre farmette. Then we moved to the “city”, took on a stressful job and took on eating plenty of processed foods. I’ve recently gotten back into growing and eating “real food” again because I realized how much better I felt when I ate the right kind of foods. I’m back into preserving foods (though I don’t have the acreage I once had and buy quantities from the local farmers). I need help with making the best use of these healthy foods with some great recipes.

  33. I have been slowly transitioning our family to whole foods only, but am just learning about the traditional nourishing diet. I think if I had a great cookbook/companion like this ebook, I would be more likely to actually try some of the scary things like fermenting and culturing!

  35. I am so new to real foods. My husband and I both struggle with how and what we eat, and I am sick of feeling run down, fatigued, and slightly ill all the time. I am 65 pounds overweight and eat horribly. I want to change so badly, but I am frustrated about where to start. I also have a seven month old son and I don’t want him to “inherit” my diet!

  37. I have TWO QUARTS of whey sitting in my fridge right now just waiting for a use! I’m very new to the real food way of life, and still very much in transition. My local farmers’ market offered a cheese-making class recently that I dove head first into, and I learned that whey can be used for lacto-fermentation. So far, all I’ve done is put it in my homemade mayo… haha. I’d really love some guidance on how to get started, some recipes, and how to prioritize. I want to do it all at once! Please help me to get on the right path. Best wishes.

  45. I would like to win this e-book because I have fallen off of the traditional ways of cooking due to lack of energy and pain, and hubby was doing all the cooking…It’s now time to get back into healthier ways of doing things and this would be a great incentive to start!

  49. I am just starting this journey and need all the [correct] help I can get!! I am “teaching”, and I use that term loosely since I am just learning myself, my grown kids and their spouses too! We all want to know how to truly eat and live healthy lives! Having this ebook would be a huge benefit for us all!

  51. I would love access to the book as I am new to “real” foods. I have been vegetarian for 10 years. I got SICK. Very very sick. No energy, vitamin deficiencies like crazy and after a colonoscopy I found out there are ulcers and holes everywhere… and you know what makes me feel better? A traditional foods diet. Real food. I can’t believe it. In about a month I am a new woman and I would like to continue on this path :)

Thank you for all of your hard work!

    Thanks!

Just starting out……but have been down the road you discussed – starting to make things “healthier”…..soaking beans…. looking for raw milk in Texas (you would think it would be easy?!)

  67. I would love your book. It is very hard to try to eat “real food” when you know NOTHING about it. Since finding out about it (especially the lacto-fermented), I’ve been researching several hours a day and lapping up any and all books on the subject. I’ve never heard anything that makes more sense. I have a 10 month old. I want to raise him w/ a nutrient-dense diet. Both my husband and I have never been taught about “real food” and we’ve both eaten unhealthy in our childhood. I’m struggling to find some “starting” ground on how to bring about this change. I am super excited about it, though. When I wake up in the middle of the night w/ the baby and can’t sleep, I find myself grabbing my Kindle Fire and reading page after page, absorbing as much as I can about real food. It is difficult, tho, because I am a very visual person, and when it comes to recipes, I am so lost. Especially since I don’t even know what 1/2 the ingredients are (exe: raw milk whey?). I know it’s super important, but I have no idea how to make it, etc. Anyways, I guess what I’m trying to say is – it would benefit my family and I very much to have access to your book. :) Thank you for all your wonderful work! We need more people like you in this world! :) Blessings! :)

  71. I don’t know if I am allowed enoguh characters to tell you all my reasons!! My MAIN reasons pertain to my husband. As a child, he had 6 of the top 8 allergens. One causing anaphylaxis. Was raised on soymilk. As he got older, a few of his food allergies went away. BUt not all. He gets very severe dermatitis herpatoformis (SP?) – very itchy, oozy ALL over his body from dairy and gluten. Eggs give him itchy rashes by his mouth and eyes and the worst – fish and shellfish cause anaphylaxis. I know we probably can’t help that last one, but hoping through real food, GAPS and then NT we can help the others. That way he can live a better, more enjoyable life and it would make mine tremendously easier too!!

  85. Having a Traditional foods book would just simply be
re-enforcement that I AM doing the right thing. My eating ‘habits’ have been corrected, so to speak. I have lost 30+ unwholesome pounds. My life in need of this knowledge.I engaged in eating junk, got lazy with convenience. I moved to some rural property. I now have fresh eggs and real meat. I continue to cook and bake the right way with my own garden. Should have listened to my mother!!!
